Terms & Conditions — Hand 2 Hand

Welcome to Hand 2 Hand ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Hand 2 Hand mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use the App

The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 13 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Account Registration

• You may be required to register and create an account to use certain features. Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for suspicious activity.

3. Using the Service

The app enables users to list, discover, and contact sellers for used items. When you post listings or communicate with other users, you must follow all applicable laws and these rules:

• Do not post illegal items or content that infringes intellectual property rights.
• Do not post hateful, abusive, pornographic, or harassing content.
• Be honest in item descriptions; do not misrepresent price, condition, or ownership.
• Respect other users' privacy — do not share personal information without consent.

4. Transactions, Payments & Fees

Hand 2 Hand is a platform to connect buyers and sellers. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, we do not mediate payments or hold funds. Any transaction is directly between buyers and sellers and you accept the risks of dealing with third parties. If we introduce paid features in the future, terms related to those features will be provided separately.

5. User Content

• You retain ownership of content you post (photos, descriptions) but grant Hand 2 Hand a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display it in connection with the Service.
• We may remove or refuse content that violates these Terms or our policies.

6. Prohibited Activities

When using the Service you must not:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to promote illegal activities.
• Impersonate someone else or provide false information.
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service.
• Collect other users' information without consent.

7. Disputes Between Users

Disputes arising from transactions between users are between those users. We are not responsible for disputes, quality of items, or the behavior of buyers/sellers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hand 2 Hand and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for direct damages will not exceed the amount (if any) you have paid us in the last 12 months.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Hand 2 Hand harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms or for other legitimate reasons, with or without notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will publish the updated Terms and update the Effective Date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any claim or dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India, unless local law requires otherwise.
